Rockin on The River: Saintseneca & The Sea The Sea

Saintseneca is an American folk rock band from Columbus, Ohio, that was formed in 2007 by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Zac Little. They are known for their diverse range of instrumentation in both their recordings, as well as in their live performances, utilizing a wide range of acoustic instrumentation (balalaika, mandolin, dulcimer, Turkish Baglama, floor percussion) with more contemporary elements such as synthesizers and electric guitars. Opening the show will be The Sea, The Sea, which Huffington Post calls, “Two of the loveliest male-female voices you might ever hear this or any other year.” The duo is known for their smart intricate lyrics, impressive harmonies, and indie-pop style. @saintseneca The Sea The Sea ------------------------------ The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District invites you to downtown Troy on Wednesday nights this summer for the annual Rockin’ on the River concert series in Riverfront Park. The Flea is a hip, collective market of vintage and specialty handmade items in the heart of downtown Troy in Riverfront Park. The Flea attracts over 30 vendors each week and has a mix of vintage clothes, dishes, funrniture, comic books and new candles, jewlery and home decor. There is music each week and food by Muddaddy Flats!! There are many business' and restaurants open in downtown Troy on Sundays so come see what Troy has to offer!

June Troy Night Out: Culture, Diversity, & Inclusion

June’s theme is “Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion” providing a space for connecting, exchange, and learning. Monument Square will have Information from organizations such as, the Albany branch of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), the Pride Center of the Capital Region, and The New Russia Cultural Center. The Troy YMCA is partnering with the Sage Colleges for Kids Night Out! Kids ages of 5 and 12 can enjoy food, fun and various activities at Sage College, while mom and dad enjoy Troy Night Out just down the street! Pre-registration is required on the Troy YMCA website. Throughout downtown Troy you will find clothing for your favorite short & curvy female, dashiki tops for stylish men, jewelry designers from India and Brazil selling accessories. Over 300 artists are represented in ongoing, new, and pop-up visual art exhibitions, as well as a Drink & Draw social gathering, and a live printing of a unique June Troy Night Out poster. All palates can enjoy foods from beer, dumplings, to cupcakes, a pop-up cooking presentation, and restaurants incorporating global & domestic techniques and ingredients- besides traditional cuisines.
